CURRENT PROJECTS



Sumava Mountains (Southern Bohemia): Nove valley, Stozec, Boletice Military Training Area. Localities with the occurence of Phengaris blues, Bog Fritillary (Boloria eunomia), Moorland Clouded Yellow (Colias palaeno) and others: management (mowing, scrub clearence, grazing); research on population structure and dynamics in local reintroduced colony of the Violet Copper (Lycaena helle); faunistic research.

Zamkovska hora hill (near Klatovy, Western Bohemia): management (mowing, scrub clearence, mechanical removal of topsoil, canopy dilution); faunistic research (except butterflies/moths also on beetles, certain groups of hymenoptera and flies), botanical research.
